🏛️ Summary of the Newly Approved NDIS™️ Bill
The latest NDIS™️ Bill has recently been approved, bringing several key changes that will impact supports and services when it is implemented. These changes may include:
- Enhanced Support Coordination: More robust frameworks towards ensuring participants have access to 'higher-quality' support coordination, tailored to their specific needs.
- Increased Flexibility in Fund Utilisation: Participants may be able to soon reallocate funding across different support categories with greater ease, allowing for more personalised and adaptive care plans.
- Introduction of New Services: Several new services aimed at improving mental health and community integration have been introduced, expanding the range of supports available.
We encourage all our members to review their participant's plans, and for NDIS participants and guardians to consult with their support coordinators and local area coordinators to maximise these opportunities coming up soon. We'd love to hear your views on the NDIS™️ Bill via return email and potential implications for your business.
